The Expandibubble takes its name from the first track on the first album by my old band Expandis ( I'm not waving I'm drowning ) -
a strange story of a room full of electronic equipment which
develops consciousness and transports the occupants of the room to other times and
places.
After many adventures the machinery develops a fault, stranding the
occupants of the room in the here and now....
Inspired by the 'Tardis' (Dr Who's time machine) the bubble takes its occupants on strange and exotic journeys in much the same way, in this case though music !
Many people who have worked in the bubble insist on refering to it as the 'mothership'
which is one of the reasons why the entrance to this part of the site is called 'mother's brain'.
Also my 'Expandibubble' studio call sign has been 'mothership' for many years which does tend to confuse the casual observer.
